This Privacy Policy explains what information ApnaCA ("ApnaCA", "we", "us") collects through the ApnaCA Android app and this website, why we collect it, and how it is stored.

1. Information we collect

In the ApnaCA app

• Account details: your name, phone number and/or email, and the business details you add (such as business name, address and GSTIN).
• Customer and supplier details: names, phone numbers, addresses, GSTIN and balances of the parties you add.
• Business records: bills (sale and purchase), returns, items and stock, warehouses, payments, expenses and other records you create.
• Team members: details of people you invite and the role you give them.
• AI requests: the questions you type or speak to ApnaCA AI, so we can answer them. [TODO: confirm how voice input is processed and whether audio is stored.]
• Photos you choose to scan: supplier bill photos, used to pre-fill a purchase bill. [TODO: confirm retention.]
• Technical data: device type, app version and error logs, used to keep the app working. [TODO: confirm exact list against the Data safety form.]

This data is stored on ApnaCA's servers so it can sync and be available to you and your team. [TODO: add server location and hosting provider.]

On this website

• Waitlist form: full name, shop/business name, city, WhatsApp number, business type, how you keep accounts today (optional), and your consent to be contacted on WhatsApp.
• Contact form: name, phone, email and your message.
• Analytics (only if you accept cookies): pages visited and general usage. [TODO: name the tool — GA4 or Plausible.]

We do not store form data in your browser.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the app: create bills, calculate GST, keep stock and ledgers, show reports.
• To contact you about ApnaCA, if you joined the waitlist or asked us to.
• To reply to your messages.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run ApnaCA (for example, hosting), or when required by law. [TODO: list processors, e.g. hosting, messaging, AI provider.]

When you share a bill on WhatsApp or by link, you choose who receives it.

4. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. [TODO: describe encryption in transit and at rest.]

5. Your choices

• You can withdraw consent for WhatsApp updates at any time by messaging us.

6. Data retention

7. Children

ApnaCA is meant for businesses and is not directed at children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
